As a part of the finance leadership team, you are a "positive challenger" who sets direction and priorities, is excellent at analyzing reports, and is clear in reporting and presenting to the Management Board. The role also includes being a sparring partner to the management team in the strategic planning function to drive the strategy and business development opportunities. You play a key role in putting the business plan together for the group. Thereafter, your team will report on the performance (both financial and non-financial). Subsequently, the Head of Corporate Control works closely together with the corporate functions in defining consistent and relevant goals, which are derived from and fit in with the company's strategy.

Corporate Control works closely with the business managers as well as their finance directors and acts as a project initiator on challenging the operational processes based on data and observations across the different business areas, in order to analyse and ultimately improve them. The role supervises central cost controlling and supports efficiency and effectiveness activities.

This role is about being the driving force for financial rigor. Improving the financial management and reporting frameworks are key issues within the organization especially business development. In doing so a Teamlead Financial Data & Analysis reports into you..

• Academic degree in business economics, with a post graduate degree (RA, ACCA, CPA,RC);
• At least 10-15 years of relevant work experience,

• Deep understanding of the energy sector

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor

• Lead and coach the corporate control team and the Financial Data & Analytics team;
• Controlling: Lead the planning & control cycle: monthly reporting and analysis and related corrective actions, quarterly forecast and annual budget process;
• Management and Supervisory Board reporting; Business analytics of functional business areas: KPI's, value drivers; Portfolio analysis & Economic performance reporting and analysis
• External reporting on the financial situation: write financial paragraph for annual statutory accountsCo-developing the strategy for the organization
• Financial forecasting (short- and long-term budgeting)
• Provide advice and decision-making support for financial developments such as rating business cases, analyzing strategic developments in relation to long-term plans and advising on ROCE/ROE/work capital/WACC etc.)
• Finance function improvement: people, processes, and systems (such as SAP).
