The Director Group Control leads and coordinates all group controlling and activities. The Director Group Control will be responsible for managing a finance team and overall finance processes, procedures and internal controls. He/she is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Planning & Control cycle and periodic financial reports. The Director Group Control reports directly to CFO and delivers insights to the CFO about the development of value drivers and cashflow whilst being able to make needed financial adjustments.

Develop strong performance management reporting and financial planning processes. The Group Controller will be tasked with developing performance management KPIs, systems and reports to drive transparency of results, better understanding and consistent treatment of key drivers of performance, and insights to improve results. Similarly, he/she will oversee the implementation of coordinated planning and forecasting processes with relevant methodologies and tools (i.e. BPC).

The Director Corporate Control is a trusted partner who is comfortable in a senior management role. He/she has a strong focus on financial and accounting processes but understands the broader scope of Group Control.

Essential Experience
• An academic background, with an additional title as Register Controller;
• At least 15 years experience as Business Controller or Finance Director and strong affinity with financial and accounting processes;
• At least 8 years experience in leading a team.

• The Director Corporate Control is able to build relationships. Is reconized as a trusted partner for the Finance functions as well as the business units;
• Gravitas, seniority and influencing skills;
• Shows integrity, initiative and sets up and contributes to the change agenda;
• Strong stakeholder with strong management skills;
• Passionate about the energy transition.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor

• Management Reporting to Management Board and Supervisory Board;
• Performance management & analysis including KPI's, value drivers; Forecasting: Lead the planning & control cycle: monthly reporting and analysis and related corrective actions, quarterly forecast and annual budget process;
• Co-developing the strategy for the organization (conducting long term Financial Business Plan, Portfolio Analysis, Review large M&A deals);
• Provide advice and decision making support for financial developments such as rating business cases, analyzing strategic developments in relation to long-term plans and advising on ROCE/ROE/work capital/WACC etc.);
• Key role in the Finance Transformation: people, processes and systems (such as S/4 HANA).
