We are looking for a professional service-oriented Key Account Manager with sales experience and would like to help educate professionals and work in culturally diverse environment to join our Client Engagement Department.

Job description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and deepening long term relationships with (existing) corporate clients.

You are the lead point of contact for existing key clients, anticipating the client's executive education needs, advising clients and managing the communication between key clients and the internal team to ensure the client's needs are met. You will also bring in new business from existing clients and develops strong and trusting relationships with major key clients.

Your main tasks

The Key Account Manager will:

  • Maintain and develop ongoing active engagement with existing corporate clients.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of key accounts current and evolving learning needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and SLA's with existing clients, establish and meet timelines for deliverables.
  • Actively participate in client-related events to develop relationships and on-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Client Engagement and Sales Teams to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling.
  • Participate in sales pitches for new clients where required.
  • Contribute to building client knowledge systems.

Job requirements

  • Advanced University degree in Business Administration or other relevant area
  • Minimal 5+ years work experience in sales management, key account management or relevant experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Proven results of delivering client learning solutions and meeting sales goals
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term associations based on trust
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, networking, (interpersonal) relationship building, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Experience in or have strong affinity with leadership/management development and adult learning.

  • Have excellent time management skills with the ability to manage several client accounts.
  • Are collaborative with an can-do attitude.
  • Have in dept understanding the decision making process as well as company key clients and drive the process forward.
  • Have a strong business acumen.
  • Are able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into recommendations for better solutions.
