As a Manager in the Department Professional Practice Accountancy (PPA) at Mazars, you will have a multifaceted role that involves the development of the Mazars Audit Methodology and supporting the Audit teams with challenging professional questions.

What are you going to do?

Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of methodology development within the PPA team, including writing manual sections and designing, testing, and reviewing methodology tools. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the evolution of our Sustainability Assurance Methodology, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and standards. You will be an integral part of the PPA team, contributing your expertise and insights to enhance our methodologies.

Being a part of the PPA team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from all over the world, immersing yourself in an international dimension. This will involve contributing to and participating in international projects related to the Mazars Audit Methodology and being a member of the international Audit Methodology team.

Also, you will play a crucial role in aligning methodology actions with our training department, ensuring a seamless integration of our methodologies into the training processes. Your support will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive training to our teams, enhancing their understanding and application of our evolving methodologies. Engage in projects based in iconic cities like London and Paris, expanding your global perspective and further enriching your professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be working both for the Dutch Technical Department and on International projects in approximately a 50-50 ratio;
• Address methodology questions from both Dutch and international direct end-users, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of our methodology, including the writing and/ or reviewing of new manual sections, FAQ's and application guidance.
• Design, test, and review methodology tools.
• Benchmarking and develop best practices to ensure both quality and efficiency;.
• Align new and update methodology trainings with the training department, providing support and assistance to ensure adequate training for the teams.
• Actively contribute to the development of Sustainability Assurance Methodology.
