Due to our increasing activities in the Netherlands we want to expand our operational team with a:

You are preparing the weekly stand-up meeting of the industrialization and manufacturing project assigned to you. You know ahead you will have to challenge the team for their deliverables; to make it to the production start, the work instruction should have been mature already and you are preparing questions to tackle the root cause and motivate and push the team to resolve it. Meanwhile, you must check again if the series testing of another product, finally runs smoothly within schedule. This pressure makes you work even better, you feel valued for you high expertise solving these matters with industrial engineers, testing engineers and assembly employees! The stand-up meeting goes well, you found routine in applying the 4M-method. The work instruction was finished the same afternoon, where you had to help them properly detailing the jigs and tools. Also, this day you scheduled your costs calculation using SAP and BI-tools, and you report to the project about material costs and labour spent, you raise your issues and mitigation plans. An exciting day, again you showed leadership and profession, and worked on team spirit!

What are your tasks?

• Organize, coordinate and ensure industrial and production deliveries are finished on time at good level of quality; work instructions, special processes, documents, tools, jigs, manufactured assemblies, test reports and quality inspections.
• Control SAP, assure that routing, workstations, task times and material lead times are properly set;
• Lead the weekly stand-up meeting for industrial and manufacturing teams; manage problems related to Men, Machine, Material and Method (4M).
• Mitigate deviations with the supply chain officer, industrial engineer and the assembly team.
• Periodically report to the project on actuals versus targets; labour, material costs, method times versus spent times.

What will you bring?

• At least 10 years of experience in OEM production environment;
• Leadership, initiative and decision minded, people management skills and experience for at least 5 years;
• Experienced in manufacturing techniques for electrical, mechanical and electronic assemblies;
• Knowhow in Industry Standards (IPC, EN, ISO...);
• Dutch & English language verbal & writing;
• Excellent reporting and planning skills, lean or Six Sigma black belt is preferred;
• Experience in SAP or equivalent ERP system is preferred.
