In response to the growth of Sunweb Group in recent years, we are on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic SEO specialist to deliver growth in SEO performance. As a pivotal member of the owned channels team, you'll contribute to the organic growth of our flagship brands, including Sunweb, Eliza, and GOGO.

You'll focus on content SEO, technical SEO, and link building. Beyond planning an SEO roadmap, we need someone hands-on, tackling immediate tasks like spotting regional trends, addressing Google errors, and initiating new projects. Our goal is to boost effectiveness in content and technical areas, therefore we encourage experimentation with AI and new tools, to make sure Sunweb Group is ready for the future of SEO.

Your impact

• Develop and oversee the SEO strategy for Sunweb Group, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive SEO analysis, including keyword research, ranking assessments, competitive benchmarking, and content analysis, to enhance content quality.
• Monitor and optimize the SEO health and performance of websites, addressing improvements and proactively identifying trends.
• Drive technical SEO improvements by conducting regular audits for site performance, speed optimization, mobile friendliness, indexability, and maintaining sitemaps.
• Take an active role in landing page orchestration, collaborating closely with marketing and content teams to execute local content strategies.
• Create the linkbuilding strategy together with an external agency
• Identify and implement new SEO content and technical trends, translating them into IT projects to stay ahead of SEO developments.
• Improve internal SEO processes and contribute to the education of SEO best practices within the organization.

What skills will bring you to the top?

• You have at least 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on SEO.
• You have a hands-on approach but are also able to create and execute an SEO strategy.
• You have strong analytical skills, including data selection, reporting, and the ability to derive actionable insights.
• You are experienced with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ryte, or Similarweb. Knowledge of BigQuery and Sitecore is a plus.
• You understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You are a team player with a strong willingness to thrive in a challenging and fast-changing environment, where a proactive attitude and self-starting mentality is needed.
• You are fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages, especially Dutch, is advantageous given our footprint.
