We are looking for an all-round, experienced HR leader and change agent, who thrives in balancing HR operations with HR change, with high professional standards and integrity and who has the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment - to join our HR team as HR Manager (0.8 -1.0 fte/32h - 40h).

Job description

The RSM BV HR Department consists of 3 regular staff members and flex staff where needed, and collaborates where possible with its HR sister department at RSM faculty. Aim of the job is to drive staff development, happiness and wellbeing and performance through ensuring smooth HR operations whilst partnering for positive change.

Our new HR Manager lives and breathes the newest scientific and practitioner's insights in HR. The HR Manager oversees the HR domain and is a valued partner for the executive directors of RSM BV, its leadership team as well as the driven, diverse and talented professional services staff in RSM BV.

Furthermore the new HR Manager acts as a proactive business partner for senior management on HR related matters, develops policies and procedures as needed, manages and coordinates human resources activities, such as recruitment & onboarding, compensation & benefits, training and other HR services. The HR Manager is a member of the RSM BV's Leadership Team and currently reports to the .

Your main tasks:

  • Oversee, manage, contribute to and improve HR operations
  • Initiate, direct, inspire and/or lead HR related change and overall acts as a change agent in this area
  • Co create with RSM's leadership team and employee council in defining and executing HR improvement projects
  • Challenge, coach, advise and give feedback to senior management in all HR related matters
  • Identify legal requirements affecting human resources and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are up to date and in compliance
  • Manage a small HR team

Required qualifications:

  • Have a relevant academic degree (Master degree or equivalent);
  • Have at least 5 years of work experience as an HR manager, preferably in an international environment within the service industry;
  • Ability to think analytically and translate strategy into effective and efficient HR actions and proposals
  • Enjoy the combination of HR execution and strategy in your day to day work;
  • Are familiar with modern-day HR practices and the newest insights in this area
  • Have strong knowledge of Dutch HR-related laws and regulations
  • Have an independent, flexible and proactive attitude;
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch;
