The Business Operations (BOps) team is the place where all trading activities come together and need to result in a financial settlement with all counterparties. With the continuous increase of contracted renewable portfolio (e.g. Batteries, Solar, Wind), the data architecture for capturing all deals and orchestrating the money flows is becoming more and more complex.

Enabling the growth of Eneco's Energy Transition, therefore comes with very large data complex landscape and requires everyone's flexibility to continuously adapt

What you'll do

The role of senior transaction analyst takes place within the Account Support & Settlement team at the trading floor. Account Support & Settlements is the customer portal of Eneco Energy trade. Our customers are renewable energy generators on one hand, and the Eneco Sales channels on the other hand. The main processes that take place in this team are securing correct deal capture, processing the trading orders from other internal departments, execute correctly and timely price data management so that all traders are continuously aware of the latest prices, and deliver support towards all internal and external counterparts for perfect customer service during duration of the contract.

As senior transaction analyst you have the complete overview of the data architecture and IT landscape for capturing all deals and orchestrating the money flows resulting in optimal output of all contracts. Since we service different countries, you are aware of the variations in regulations, price and certificate calculation, and can support the teammanager in building a robust and international account support team with common way of working and backup rotation planning.

You are able to act as senior sparring partner towards the trading structurers on how best to set-up a contract with an effective implementation time and maximized output, but at the same time can translate these business requirements into IT requirements.

The portfolio of Eneco Energy Trade is quickly diversifying (e.g. solar, wind, batteries, behind the meter etc.) and there is never a dull moment. Enabling the growth of Eneco's Energy Transition, comes with very large data complex landscape and requires everyone's flexibility to continuously adapt.

You cooperate with your teammembers to efficiently work towards our mission. In this you have a pro-active and flexible mindset, needed to accelerate the energy transition. You effectively contribute to the teams business plan and date to challenge the direction when needed.

• At least 5 years relevant working experience
• A background in finance preferably in an energy trading environment
• Experience with transactional activities and the capturing of complex deals/orders
• Strong affinity with proces automation and process designing
• Familiar with Snowflake , Excel and PowerBI
• Dutch language is a big plus!
• Teamplayer who knows how to coach and motivate the teammembers to strive for optimal results
• Capable of strict prio-setting in a hectic environment

You'll be responsible for

• Together with the other members of the Account Support & Settlements team you build on a setting up an uniform way of working for all the countries we are actively represented (currently Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom). You are the captain of this domain and oversee the total area.
• You aim for a correct and timely administration and logging of all deals and contracts. You safeguard the quality of the administrative handling and oversee all processes behind this admin.
• You aim for a correct and timely billing administration towards all internal and external counterparts with the other members of the Account Support & Settlements
• You are capable of working independent towards subjects assigned to you and continuously align with colleagues and other internal departments
• You act as senior expert as consultant for the colleagues in your team but also in complex dealteams, making sure the deal is set-up within the right boundaries
• You enjoy a diversity of many topics on your agenda and switching between working on project and handling ad hoc requests
• You take part in our change delivery process as senior analyst, assessing the impact of new contracts, stating the boundaries and designing the implementation
